Q1: My son took the third grade terra Nova tests and scored very high. His scores ranged from a 5th grade to 12th grade level with an average of 9th grade level. He also has ADHD and gets into trouble in class because he says he is "bored". He is on the 504 plan in school which I think makes the school view him differently than they might another child with these results. My question is where can or should I go from here?

My son has a large vocabulary- speaks in full sentences. He asks why, what, who, where and when questions. When interested in an activity will play for long periods of time. He has a wonderful imagination ... These are just some of the things he does. Is my son advanced or are all these things normal for his age?

Q3: I am from the Philippines (which unfortunately do not have a wide knowledge of giftedness). My daughter is 2 years & 9 months now & studying in Nursery 1. I refuse to believe (though I detect it myself) that she is gifted until her teacher noticed it too. Here in Cebu (one city in the Philippines), we only have 1 Doctor who caters to Child Behavioral Development and assessment would cost us 1,500.00 PhP ($1 USD = 56Php). That's why I would like to ask your assessment or your impression if she is really gifted since I cannot right away send her to that Doctor for evaluation for monetary reasons....
